The concern about hitting behind Ryan Howard is real and legitimate, and Burrell has been awful this season. (For context, though, with runners in scoring position, Burrell was hitting .239 going into last night, and Howard was hitting .240. Burrell has struck out 18 times to end innings with runners in scoring position, and Howard has struck out 20 times.)
