Schilling: My Take

I think my friend's analysis is spot on. Though I don*t think Schilling has as much interest/preference in returning to Red Sox as you might think, or even Schilling suggests. My belief, or more likely hope, is that another year in Boston has a been there/done that feel to it. (And for PR purposes, in case he does actually return to Boston, he has to maintain the patter/illusion of "wanting" to come back to Boston. He will insist on that right up to the point where he signs with another team).

Coming back to Philadelphia makes a lot of sense for him. Especially if he can actually get them over the hump and further burnish his already considerable post-season reputation.

I would not be surprised if he waits things out and sees what moves the Phillies make regarding Rowand, Centerfield, and 3B before committing to anything.

screw Schilling, i thought this was an EAGLES blog?!? i came in here to bash Andy Reid dammit!!! BAD DAD!!!

i guess it's easier to talk about a team of hope (Phils?) than a team whose coach's sons are on dope (long way to go for a rhyme, i know). 89 pills jammed up his rectum? eew.

i hope Schilling signs with the Phils and gets hammered. maybe then all you Schilling-lovers will give it up.

HE WAS BETTER IN ARIZONA! PK knows NOTHING!!!
