The Eagles' line for this week's game against the Bears opened at 9!!?? And will probably go higher closer to game time. The Bears secondary is decimated by injuries and they'll be starting their backup QB, Jonathan Quinn. Nevertheless....9 points is a lot of points to favor a road team in the NFL. It's an indication of how much respect the Eagles are getting. I mean, 9 points is the sort of line you saw with the '99 Rams or the '03 Chiefs, two of the most prolific offenses of the past two decades. Heady company. Man, that is a lot points.
