Sunday marks the 70^th anniversary of the explosion of the german airship, the Hindenburg, in Lakewood, NJ. 36 people died in the fiery crash. The 36 died in the flames or the fall as they tried to jump out of the dirigible. NONE of the passengers that remained in the cabin perished.
