Back to the Eagles?

Like I said in an earlier post, the Phillies have a window of opportunity – what with the great NL East run, the first two home playoff games, and Eagles on a bye - to reclaim some Philly fan attention that has been disproportionately focused on the Eagles for, oh, the last decade. Anyway, as I also wrote, re-engaging a generation of potential baseball fans in the region was going to depend on how the NLDS went, and, more importantly, how the Phillies played.

 

Note to Pat Gillick and Dave Montgomery: Getting swept is NOT the way to engender yourself with prospective Phillies fans.
