Consdine's Shoulder

The news out of S. Philly couldn’t be better for Sean Considine-haters, a club whose membership of those that despise undersized white defensive players grew in recent weeks as charter members of the Matt McCoy Must Go group got their wish and have now since migrated to their next Eagles obsession.

 

Considine is out for the rest of the year with a shoulder injury. I have not seen reports of which shoulder and what exactly the injury is. Curiously, though, I have read reports from Eagles sources saying that Considine will be healed and ready for the 2008 season. I say curiously cause I seem to recall that Considine’s rookie season was also cut short by a shoulder injury, and thanks to the lack of accurate reporting, it is not at all clear if the current injury is the same injury and/or to the same shoulder, and if it is is it more of a chronic condition at this point which would call into question his fitness for 2008.
