Kudos to Bill Conlin who continues to expose the members and finances of the Phillies limited partnership, and rebut the poor-mouthing payroll lies of company stooges like Dave Montgomery and Ruben Amaro, Jr.

People like Claire Betz and the Buck brothers are perhaps the last remaining millionaires who run a major sports teams as a business to make a big personal profit out of the team's operations. Conlin's given us a little hope with the recent windfall of John Middleton, but I won't hold my breath.
